Basic Life Skills

Basic Life Skills covers the following skills:

  • Name / Come
  • Leave It / Self Control
  • Sit
  • 4 On the Floor (no jumping)
  • Polite Leash Walking
  • Down
  • Go To Bed
  • Stay
  • Relax quietly
  • Work in a group class environment
  • Tricks that help with engagement
  • And more!

Open to dogs of all ages and breeds. 

This class is a great option for young puppies however please note that formal play time is not part of the course. In this class they learn how to focus on and work with their owner in the presence of other puppies and dogs.

This class is not suitable for dogs with aggression or reactivity issues.

Class will have maximum 8 participants. It is subject to being postponed if the minimum number of students is not reached before the start date. Basic Life Skills courses are usually booked 1 – 2 weeks prior to the start dates. We keep a cancellation list and occasionally have a last minute space available.

Please note that the deposit (and later, the balance) is non-refundable/transferable.
